Boer (Dutch word for Farmer) were first introduced to the United States in 1993 and originate from South Africa. At Lacie Lee Farms, our Boer Goats enjoy foraging in the Appalachian fields and forests of Northern West Virgnia. Locally produced feed and hay, in addition to fruit and vegetable garden surplus, contribute to the biodiversity of diet for our goats.
