Lacie Lee Farms is located in Marshall Co. West Virginia on the 3rd generation Rose family farm. Female owners have been at the helm for two-thirds of those generations.
Current owner, Tatia Rose, lives in Nashville, TN but spends time at the farm regularly.
The namesake of the farm, Lacie Lee Wallace, tragically lost her life to colon cancer on October 14th, 2017. Her legacy of art, music and motherhood inspired the Rose to revive the goat farming operations in her honor, and expand to Appalachian Heritage Crops cultivation and foraging.
Lacie’s journey was an inspiration to many, and her passion for expressing life and honoring nature was strong to the end. An excellent article that chronicles her last days and her unique journey as an artist, can be found here.
